I offer neurodivergent-affirming counselling for Autistic, ADHD, Dyslexic, and AuDHD adults in South Birmingham and online across the UK.
As a late-diagnosed Autistic and Dyslexic person, I understand the importance of feeling listened to and understood. You don’t need a formal diagnosis to access therapy; self-identified and questioning clients are welcome.
Neurodivergent-affirming counselling recognises neurological differences as part of natural human diversity. This approach:
• Validates your experiences
• Adapts therapy to you, not the other way around
• Avoids pathologising language
• Prioritises safety, autonomy, and collaboration
I work with neurodivergent adults experiencing:
• Anxiety, overwhelm, or burnout
• Masking, exhaustion, or sensory overload
• Identity questions
• Late diagnosis
• Relationship or workplace challenges
• Feeling misunderstood or out of place
Sessions can be adapted to your needs, including:
• Slower pacing or added structure
• Clear expectations and boundaries
• Flexible communication styles
• Space for processing time and grounding
• In-person counselling – South Birmingham
• Online counselling – Across the UK
• Walk-and-talk therapy – South Birmingham
• I am a qualified Clinical Supervisor for counsellors
